Why we built LocalTools

In a fast-moving digital world, people handle huge amounts of images, documents, and data every day. Yet many traditional online tools require you to upload files to unknown cloud servers before they can compress or convert anything. That wastes bandwidth, slows you down, and, more importantly, exposes private and sensitive business data to risks you cannot fully control.

That is why we created LocalTools. Our goal is simple: keep common processing capabilities on your own device as much as possible, eliminate upload waiting and privacy anxiety, and deliver a cleaner and more efficient experience.

Our privacy promise

LocalTools is built around a zero file upload design. When you use our tools:

• No storage, no collection: Your original files and the generated results remain on your device during processing. We do not store, and cannot access, your input data.
• Offline by design: By keeping processing in the browser, we minimize transmission risk and avoid common leakage scenarios that happen during network upload and download.
